OB1 shafts for sale.

Got my OB-1 today (in what might have been record time from the States to Thailand, and customs let something slide by without a tariff for a change:cool: )- thanks again.:)

troy let me know how it works out. i want to do an ivory ferrile. how is the ferrule put on.???

predators bore that shaft and screw ferrule into wood.

do ob1 shafts have normal tenons or like a predator with the bore

You have to put in a tennon and then the ferrule.

i did it with a predator and it shattered.

i know a big cuemaker that was doing this and they also didnt hold up. too much pressure on that laminated wood and when you combine that with a shaft that doesnt bent somewhere somethings gotta give. and i guess thats it.
 
I would check with Mike Gulyassy i know he uses ob1 shafts for break cues sometimes and he changes it to a 1 piece canvas phenolic without any problems.

i didnt want to say a name... but he did one and it also fell part. maybe it was a fluke but its happened more than once
 
great transaction

I just received my Ob1 shaft today. Troy has great communication and quick shipping. This is my 2nd transaction with him and will not hestitate to do business with him again.

I have not bumped this thread in awhile. I have several shafts availible and several due in the week or so. I will meet or beat anybodies price on these shafts.
