I hit some balls with the OB2 at the DCC in the hall on the OB cue not my Scruggs. I thought it was really solid in comparison to the OB1 I hit with last year and I never liked the Predator. I liked the feel of the cue and the shaft combo. The tip is thin but the shaft feels thick. I believe the shaft is going to be in my case when I go back down to the Derby tonight.
Who likes the OB2, does anyone own it on here and not like it after buying one and playing with it for a while?
How has the OB1 held up for people on AZ just wondering on the overall OB quality? I have definitely heard some quality issues with Predator ar the OB shafts better.
I do not think I would be bothered at all by the wood colored ferrule but that was mentioned to me as a potential issue does it bother anyone.
BTW - This will go on my Scruggs sneaky pete which is my trunk cue and is always in my car, I keep it in a Porper 2x4. OB's Royce thought it would be OK as he does the same with his stick. My Phillipi shaft/Scruggs SP has been living in the trunk for years and it now has a very slight wobble. It held up for 10+ yrs in the trunk.
This cue combo is the results of some trading around along time ago so I really do not want to hear about any charges of cue abuse (I know I know I know) but I like keeping one in the trunk anyway.
