In the past 12 years as a table mechanic, I have collected a couple hundred pool balls. Some are like new - some are not. They vary in condition from good to chipped, discolored or just dirty. Most are mid to low in quality. A lot of the 8 and 9 balls are missing.

Long story short, I find that they are now in my way and was about to pitch them. Before I trash them I decided to see if anybody wants/needs them. Shipping ect. would have to be worked out...
 
There was a guy yesterday in the forsale section looking for a pink 4 ball. Not sure if you have any of those - just posting in case.

The only pink balls I have do not Have 4s on them. As I stated these are mid to low quality so no super pros or centennials

Lots of people sell old, mismatched, and single balls on eBay. Some old balls -- even cracked and dusty ones -- are worth $50-$100 each, or even more. If all you have is old plastic balls made after 1960, they are not worth shipping, and I think your best bet is to take them to a large pool hall or a coin-op table vendor in your area.

If you post pictures here (20 balls at a time), I'll try to point out if you have any gems.
 
I have heard of cue makers taking the old balls and cutting them up to make rings, etc...

I don't see anything old (and collectible) in there. There are some balls that look like they are Aramith Super Pro (italic numerals) but if they are the Chinese look-alikes, they aren't worth much. If there is a large supply store near you they might be interested in the lot for replacements. You might get $20-$40 for all of them on eBay -- be careful to specify shipping costs clearly. If there is a coin-op distributor (Valley?) they might want replacements too.

I have a suggestion, if you can't find any buyers for the balls.

Years ago, I purchased a cigarette lighter in a 9-ball. It was a genuine 9-ball with a disposable cigarette lighter that fit in it perfectly. When the disposable light got used up, you could replace it with a new disposable light. It's a nice coffee table piece.

Also, I've seen some balls turned into gear shifts on souped-up cars. I'm not sure how they do it, but they look pretty cool.

I know these balls are heavy, but the way they look in the picture, they are so colorful. They'd sure make nice Christmas tree ornaments! :p

Donate them to your local Boys and Girls club!
I am sure they probably have some use.

USPS flat rate

Flat rate USPS Maybe $9 has no weight limit what ever fits in the box they supply maybe 2 sets. Do you have any sets.

Just curious. :cool: What # ball do you have the least of.
My guess 8 then 9 followed by 7, 13, 4.
