A little something I threw together of a few cues that I owned in the last few years. One that I wish I could get back but doubt it will ever happen. Hope you enjoy it. Feel free to post any pics that you may want to

Here are a couple of pictures of the men behind the great cues and their shop. This is a great idea to post this thread about Tim and Mike. They always treated me like a close friend......

That's a fine looking cue that Tim is holding. The pictures bring back many happy memories of Mike and Tim in the shop enjoying their work and each other"s company. Hope to see Timmy doing well again. And hope to meet you some time Tony. Thanks to David for starting this thread. Nice cues Dave.

I hope that you don't mind me posting it in this thread. I have a lot of pictures of cues and cue makers and that picture just suited this thread.

I took the first pic and the last pic of Mike making my cue. What a fun day that was.:D
 
We had met once in Tim's shop a few years ago.

I have only dealt with Mike on one occassion. It was two weeks before he passed. I contacted him to have some 3/8 acme joint protectors made for my Scruggs that he did the inlays on (between the points). Very nice gentleman. I called him back and because he was sick he didnt hae a chance to make them, but did make them the following week. I receied them, then read on here two days later he passed. Alot of beautiful cues came out of this shop, I wish I had the chance to visit like some of you.

Slideshow wasnt what I wanted it to be. Here are some more pics. The blue veneered cue was by far my favorite. Sold it to pay some hospital bills. Would love to get this one back but doubt it will ever happen. Mike was a great guy and a good friend. I miss him more every time I look at these pics. Take care.

ATM do you have a pics of the joint protectors that Mike made for you.

He hated making joint protectors, so you got a rare item if they were made custom.

When i picked up the cue that Tim is holding in the picture of this thread, Mike made it a point to tell me "see I even made you caps for this cue"

My eyes are green with envy (hazel that is) looking at both Tony and Brian's nice Scruggs and Cochran cues. A testimony to these two fine Maryland cuemakers extrordinary craftsmanship.

From the work I have seen on here of Leon Sly he just may fill some of the HUGE void left from Tim and Mike.
