John needs to keep the doubts to himself and bear down. He's pulling way too hard imo.

USA break...1 in side. 2 ball macabre CB center table with 2 1 diamond up off end rail in center. Poor safe by Duel. 2 is 45 degrees out of corner but they dog it bad.

John has straight in 2 gets on 3 nicely. Says "best ball of my career!".

7 being 8 on long rail 16 in apart with 8 10 in out of hoke. John dogged and leaves 6 9 combo. It's over.

And then he missed, lol. I did think Deuel left him awkward on that five, but you can't really complain after that comment, lol.
 
John is gonna need a psychiatrist says I'm dogging too much. 5 ball was easy. He's trying to get perfect shape. Just make the balls. Table plays so easy.
 
I'll give him credit there, it was a difficult shot to get shape with, but he even missed the five and left it there for them to get shape with. Just bad, real bad.
 
JS is talking himself out of playing well. He's so negative and it's contagious. He proving to be a big liability IMHO..
 
Great break by Gray. Europe has wide open layout. 123 up table. Other balls lay easy up table. Ref must be pattern racking for them.

It's 4 to 3 Europe. ..May be the last Schmidt appearance. ..he better hope they get a good break. Duel breaking I believe.
 
Not sure why he didn't lock the cue ball up behind the six on that last shot....
 
Seriously? Why would you just take a swing at it AND break up the group surrounding the nine???

Agreed. You don't need to Duel how to play.. Let him go through his c routine and setup. 30 seconds goes quick when he's telling him to play safe bank shoot everytime.

Poor break. 4 balls in pile by spot. No running out here. Weak safe by John. Gives Europe 2 on end rail with white by pike of balls. Boyes gets 2 behind pike with CB 9 ft away.
Duel perfect kick safe behind 2. This games gonna be a fight.

Great safe by Gray. They can hit it hut no offense. JOHN Just hit 2 into 4 ball pike opens them all up and 2 in side. He is just horrible today.
