The 2nd chance tournament was coordinated with the main event and, unless I'm mistaken, Chuck is putting up money for the 2nd chance tournament as well. Thanks for setting me straight and clarifying the plan. When I read about the 2nd tournament I just thought it would be better served to hold it the following weekend with maybe a little more $$$ added and possibly many of the players would hang around the Phoenix area for the week and both benefit poolrooms to the fullest.

After further review it did provide a 2nd opportunity to the players that traveled from all parts of the country to stay in action.

Sometimes things can be much clearer when you are fully informed. Objection withdrawn!

I finally replied as I did not get back until 2 AM last night from Kolby's where I did enjoy the Desert Shootout. There were some great matches. Immomen and Archer's match for the hot seat stood out along with Hill Billie's matches on the left side against the who's who of pool: Reyes, Schmidt and Oscar Dominguez. I will be heading up the highway again this morning to see the upcoming matches and another afternoon in pool viewing heaven.

Thanks again for the info and my apologies if I offended anyone in making my point. Apparently I started typing before I was completely aware of the big picture.

anybody know if were going to get updates today ???? Didnt know if the guys who wer e doing it had to work today.............
 
I'm not going to be there today, too much work stuff to catch up on. The first match should have started an hour ago.
