Yes it has been a very tough event, The tables are playing very tough.
I managed to scrape through my last match against Dave Uwate who played some very good pool.

Good tournament and great updates as well.

This is Kevin here...Thanks to my man Phil for posting these great updates all weekend. A few thank yous I wanted to throw out there. James and Ward here at Diamond Billiards put on a class act all around. The room is beautiful and the place has been packed all weekend. If youre ever near the area, this is definitely a spot to check out. Thanks to Ted Harris who despite a hand injury, has been busy with Custom Cue repair all weekend.

The 10am matches have kicked off and they seem to be pretty close for the most part. Crosby has got Kirkwood 4-2 and it looks like te 3 other matches are 3-3 or 3-2. Great stuff all around. Were about an hour away from the Winners side matches between Justin Hall and Jerry Calderon and David Vaughn vs. Stevie Moore. Justin has been playing great here at Diamond, and this tournament just shows it for sure.

Looks like Sparky is trying out the soft break this morning. We'll see if Donny can ovecome that.

Phil or myself will be back in no time with some more updates. Talk to everybody soon.

Thanks for the great updates. This forum is cool, thanks to people like you, Kevin. It is nice to read about what's happening in pool from coast to coast. I am looking forward to reading all about it. :smile:

Justin is playing really good this weekend maybe the home court advantage is helping. So far everyone is having a good time and enjoying the place. I meet uwate what a nice guy and a good player. I would like to thank Kevin for all the updates and all the nice comments and good publicity....

Crosby defeated Kirkwood 8-7. Great match back and forth.
Richko defeated Pinegar 8-5.
Lombardo defeated Chohan 8-6. Hunter grinded out the victory after a potential costly scratch on the 10-ball to get on the hill.
Ferrell has Mills 7-5 with Donny at the table. The match looks like a 1-pocket match with Sparkys soft break. Might have to change something before the next event...to be continued

Thanks man-no disrespect meant- Im just in NY now and couldnt make it. I may not be back to FL til the cold winds blow up here.

I hear so much good stuff about your room. Ill get there as soon as i can. There is a 6 in front of my age now and it isnt so easy traveling nowadays. I usually have to bring a camel just to carry my meds. Cya soon.
