Nothing like a little friendly compitition to get some good natured smack talk going.

Being by far the 2nd or 3rd most obnoxious guy I know, I guess it's up to me to start.

You guys all suck, I'm going to (try) smoke y'all this year.

The game isn't as easy as you think, threre's definately some strategy involved.

I continue to strive for "Not Last", and I will continue to recruit new players till I look far better than last. This tournament is a rude awakening for all regardless of how well you do. Just wait till you win, the wait for your prize money is a *****.

Did any of you finish your games yet? Or are y'all waiting till the last day.
Let me know who is in this little shindig, and I'll be on you like something on something everyday to make you finish and turn in your scores.

(loves trash talking, was that trash talking enough, I don't want to hurt anyones feelings with trash talking, how did I do)

Rock on TRASH talkers

HMMMMM Drivermaker take out the trash,,,,,,,,,,,LOL

I will admit it is harder than it looks, I will post my final results after my first session is complete. I began playing last night and realized on my Diamond, those last few must be selected beforehand. I will likely make latter attempts at the local pool hall so as not to be embarassed.

But... smacktalking must continue...

I own this like Michael Jackson does Neverland Ranch ... wait that went belly up. Ok, I got it, like OJ and a pair of black gloves... they didn't fit not OJ's gloves.... nevermind.

It's okay, your first sessions scores probably won't be as embarrassing as my first session, which included scores of -1, 0, 2, 3...and only one score in the double digits!

I think I have the same Diamond table as you, and it's wicked tough. I bought it 2 months ago, and the past few weeks now that the cloth on the rails have broken in, the corner pockets have tightened up substantially. If you hit a shot with any type of speed at all that hits the rail first, the shot just won't go in.

But I'm not blaming the table for everything, cuz I still suck...hehe.

Well learned. I try select the 'last 5' with about 8 balls on the table, then use a '3-ball-out' to make shape on the first of the last 5. It seems to me that the transition between the open and the rotation balls causes me the most grief.

Hmmm, your smack talk needs work like my game.

DK,
Just a hint from a pro friend of mine who is unbelieveable at this game: try to pick 7 or 8 balls to play at the end in rotation. If you foul up in the transition, then you still have a chance. He often shoots the last 9 or 10 in rotation - it forces you to make choices earlier in the rack, and offers a little "wiggle room" if you foul up position before the last 5.

Thanks willie, I'll give that a try ... sure sounds like reasonble advice. Of course just because I select the last 5 with 8 on the table it doesn't always mean I play those last .... you know what they say about 'the best laid plans' :o

Dave, has no pro friends:(

DK,
Are you so sure that none of those girls that hang out at your bar are "pro's"???????......since this is the official smack talk thread.

So when are you going to sign up ? Your talk rings hollow without an entry in the BreakUp-Drivermaker Memorial Holiday Tournament. Post up Slinger, let's see what you can do.

Smack talk is definately required at this point. Not for any of the individuals that have signed up for the Bud balls. They've already shown that they might have game. Might is the key word. I still see a lot of empty scoresheets.

No, the smacktalk at this point should be delivered to the lily livered denziens that inhabit AZ everyday yet don't have the game to compete with the elite .25% of AZ.

All I have to say to them at this point is... Meh!!!!! you guys/girls are useless and probably hit balls with the rubber end of your cues.

Thats all for now.
