Ok Healing Carbon Fiber Cues

Temu... it's the new Wish for crappy items and likely scams. For that price, they would be no better than any other $100 cue, and worse than some like the Valhala or the Lucky cues, or something from Action or Players.

Kind of re-kindles the question of the difference if any is there in carbon fiber material as released to pool cues. Hard to believe you can get anything of value for that price.

I played with may CF shafts, from the cheap generic Chinese ones to the Mezz Ignite, there is a clear difference in them going from cheapest to about the $300 range. At $300+ you are looking at preferences in deflection and hit feel. A Cuetec or some other more affordable shaft and a Predator or Ignite at $500 has a few differences in how they hit and perform but that can be as much a personal preference as outright quality of design or build. At the cheaper levels the shafts are no better than normal house cues or basic maple shafts with less hit feel.

Yeh, agree, I recently tested one and they are no where near low deflection. They measured over 40mm. Not sure if we're allowed to post links here but you can find the video on YouTube, search okhealing shootout.

Almost all these lo-cost shafts are just generic tubes finished in some random Chinese shop. Few if any make their own tubes. Not sure but i think Ok Healing makes tubes as well as finished shafts.

You get what you pay for. I don't expect anything good at that price point.

It's like generic cereal, cheap assholes will say their isn't a diffrence, but we all know it's not the same.
Depends on the cereal, fruity or cocoa pebbles are pretty much the same.

What is the real difference between generic tubes and others? Or are the tubes similar and the plug and vault plate the cheap part?

doesn't have to be rubbish. jflowers started out on aliexpress which is similar to temu, and they're actually quite good. cf shaft prices are obviously inflated

Big-time. Manufacturing cf is now an everyday common-place deal. Its not the exotic mystery material it once was. There is no reason for shafts to cost over 250-300bux MAX yet some outfits charge it and get it.

Not sure to be honest. Not much i'd have to bet. I do know that filament wound tubes tend to be used by the higher end co's. and whether or not that yields a better playing shaft idk. A lot of the smaller makers use flag-wrapped tubes and they play just fine. FillamentW shafts tend to be 'spine free' where flag shafts do have a spine where the flag wraps overlap. Does this spine cause big differences in playing? https://forums.azbilliards.com/thre...ickness-uniformity.505994/page-2#post-6562319

So true! I have a family member that’s in that category. He brags about finding everything dirt cheap, and then wonders why the crap is breaking down on him all the time. Lol
