Well, at least you manned up an apologized to him. No matter what happens, and this may sound mushy but I don't give flying FK, friends are important. You did the right thing by apologizing to him.
As for shooting with someone's cue being a no-no, it all depends on that person. Personally, I don't care if my friends use my cues. I've been in tournaments before where the guy I was playing stood up and grabbed my cue by accident, neither of us noticed at the time, and after he'd finish the rack he realized something was different, pointed it out to me, apologized for using my cue and then complimented me on how well it played and asked if he could use it the rest of the match (jokingly of course). At times like that, I don't lose an ounce of sleep over it. Some douchebag though, if I noticed him picking it up I'd point it out to him.
For someone purposely picking it up, it would depend on who that person was. A friend, no problem. A stranger, I'd say something, but I wouldn't be offensive.

I think me going off on him was wrong and I felt the need to apologize to him. Some might not like the idea of an apology but if I am wrong, than I don't care if I look like an idiot, but I will apologize and admit that I am wrong. Thanks for the tip, I shouldn't over react to really anything, I know everyone has their pet peeves but I better learn to control myself. As for the match, wow, that's pretty cool he shot with your cue and no one noticed haha.

Cues are like tooth brushes
I don't want yours
and leave mine the FK alone....
that could be just me tho....
That's how I am, I just don't really like people touching my stuff, but I over reacted to a friend touching it and I should've just told him calmly rather than going off on him like that.

ChinO, this is your direct quote: "Anyhow, we were playing 8 ball on a 10 footer, and I won the last two games."
Maybe what got you upset was all the other games this non-playing, non pool respecting fellow won prior to you winning the last two games.
Sure is my direct quote, where'd you find it? haha jk

I'm not the type of guy who gets furious for losing games, I rather look back and see what I did wrong and try to better from it. I miss a shot, I might get a bit upset because it was an easy shot (I am a newbie by the bay) but I'd just analyze, what did I do to miss the shot, rather than just trying to crack a cue over my knee. I'm always smiling whenever I am shooting with my friends, he sometimes think I am laughing at him for missing a shot and get's mad, but it's just that I like to smile when I am having a good time.
As for the games, we were playing on a Brunswick GC before we moved to the 10 footer. We played a total of 5 games before it, I won the first two games, he won the third game when we were both hitting the 8-ball back and forth and I scratched when I made the 8-ball

(It was a close game so it made it really fun). After the third game, the 10 footer opened up and we moved to the 10 footer, that's when I won the two last two games before all the nonsense I did happened.
Just wanted to clear it up for you, that way you don't have to CSI Miami the thread lol
Happy shooting!
