Ok now that JB and Lou is dead , who's next

It was all of it.

I could have won $10,000. Then my marketing expense would have been totally free. Since I didn't win I just rolled it up into my expenses and absorbed it easily.

Tell me again the last time you put $10,000 on the table in a money match?

Oh was that NEVER?

Never. I'm not sure if that's a measure of heart, or stupidity.

I also haven't taken $10,000 and lit it on fire in my front yard, either.

In both situations, the outcome would be the same. So.....who cares?

I've gambled, John. I'm just not stupid enough to get into a pissing contest with someone regarding an aiming system, and then challenge them to a game that in NO WAY showcases the merits of an aiming system.

John Schmidt doesn't use CTE, or believe in it, either. Perhaps you should show him the merits of CTE, and burn....I mean, bet another $20k.

So, you're playing One Pocket against Lou. Your wife leaves the game, goes and gets someone, and that someone that sits down with her, and happens to talk with you while covering his mouth, and looking back and forth at the tables you were playing.....was a pizza delivery guy, right? Oh, wait. Travel agent.

I asked Dennis to sit on my side and keep me calm and focused. He did that as best he could.

Anyone who knows him though knows that he is extremely hard to understand. So any such discussion was not about what balls to play. Furthermore no one was anywhere close to us so there is no possible way anyone could hear what we were talking about.

I couldn't even understand him and I was three feet away.

IF Dennis had coached me then Lou would have lost easily. During the time Dennis sat there i made plenty of stupid errors, shot shots that not top onel pocket player would ever play. IN FACT Know-It-All - I shot a shot that Lou was CONVINCED that Dennis told me to play and later on one pocket.org EVERYONE thought it was a crap shot including Billy Incardona. I was proud of the shot even though it didn't turn out good for me - though I being clever - but took myself off of the hill and ended up losing that game. Thanks COACH!!!

IF Lou wants to let Dennis coach me I will bet $40,000 to Lou's backer group's $20,000 and GIVE LOU 9:8.

You guys got that? I will SPOT him and bet 2:1 if Dennis can coach me.

No, I am going to ask Mike Howerton to censure you for breaking the rules and defaming me.

It isn't defamation if it's the truth. A shortstop one pocket player just happens to visit you during a $10k game of ONE POCKET. Yep, must have been talking with you about a new case, right? And the reason he kept pointing at the table was to illustrate the colours for his ultra pad interior. Makes sense.

You asked a very good ONE POCKET player (whom you say you can't understand) to keep you calm and focused. Why was your wife there? I'd have a friend there to calm me down. I'm sorry, John. I smell a heaping, steaming pile of BS.

Well I did what I wanted to do and that's my call. If I wanted it to be just about an iaming system then I would have not played at all. I would have hounded Lou to play Stan for as much money as I could get together.

I wanted to play because Lou is an evil person in my opinion. He is a bully and I wanted to stand up to him. But I didn't bring it so this one didn't have a movie ending.

The overriding point Shawn is that you don't get to dictate how I live my life. You don't get to tell me how to spend my money, who I get to challenge or what stipulations I will make. I don't care how you live yours whether you play for candy bars or for loonies. I don't care because it's your life. You seem to have this fixation with me that is borderline creepy. You claim you're tired of reading about the match then don't read it. But as long as you keep chastising me it shows you're not tired of it you just love to tell me how to live my life. People who are tired of hearing something just don't listen, they don't open the thread, they turn the channel, they ignore it.

My wife was making us money handling orders. Dennis was someone who could keep me focused because he says things like "get that money" and "stay down" in the type of manner that means something.

I don't give a shit what you think about it. The match recording shows CLEARLY that I didn't play good one pocket and made lots and lots of mistakes while Dennis was sitting there. So if he was coaching then he is the worst coach ever.

Again the shot that Lou thought was a "world class top shelf one pocket shot" was universally derided by all the world class top shelf one pocket players.

So maybe the problem is that Lou was only pissed that his best game wasn't enough to put away a chicken-winging goofball so he had to find an excuse for not winning 9:0

Again IF Dennis had coached me then Lou would have lost EASILY.

I am not tired of reading about the match. I'm tired of you whining about how much better you are than Lou. YOU LOST. Like when you played Jimbo. You are a big 0-fer. Sooner or later, you're going to be able to beat someone. Perhaps you should start small. Play someone like Duckie. You can get Stan to do all your pivots for you. Duckie can use the ghost ball patch. 14.1, race to 200. That should take about a day.

I think that match would be much more entertaining than you and Lou again. Lou knows what to expect, in regards to the gong show known as John Barton. I think he'd actually be an even bigger favourite this time. And again, you've proven you have some dog in you. Couldn't beat Jimbo. Couldn't beat Lou. A third loss could destroy your ego....oh wait....AGAIN, I forgot who I'm talking with! Please disregard.

It isn't the truth. He wasn't pointing at the table.

Think about it logically, I know you're smarter than this.

If this guy was coaching me then why would he point at the table?

You keep making statements as if you were there. you weren't there. And the people that were there were all more than 15 feet away from us.

And why did I make so many amateur mistakes throughout the whole time Dennis was there? To include once even shooting Lou's out ball into Lou's pocket among a ton of other mistakes.

He did coach you. You still have to make the shot. You didn't. You lost.

I am better than Lou. And I am better than Jimbo. When someone beats me where I was outplayed then I say that. When I dog it I say that as well.

I don't know where this stupid sentiment comes that you should say a person you lost to is better than you are. We all accept that sometimes the better player loses. By your logic if I beat Pagulayan then he should never ever say he is the better player and ask for a rematch. I hope you can understand how absurd that is.

One of the great things about watching the streamed video was that the camera was on your wife and Dennis pretty much the entire time he was there. So we really couldn't look away - we had to look at them. So, may I ask why he covered his mouth every time he talked with you? Was it the top secret "get that money"? Perhaps he was saying "you'd better get that money off the light", but you couldn't understand him...

Dude you don't even know HOW to play one pocket. I took shots that NO GOOD ONE POCKET PLAYER WOULD TAKE.

Wasn't a matter of not executing, which was also a problem for me that day, it was a matter of SHOT SELECTION and if a good one pocket player had been coaching me then I would NOT have taken those goofy shots.

We played hundreds of shots in nine hours Shawn. Like I said if Lou wants to play with Dennis coaching then I will bet 40k to his 20k AND give him 9:8.

I mean Lou already thinks he beat me with Dennis coaching so this ought to be a no-brainer right?

Last time, stop saying I was coached. If you say it again I will talk to Mike Howerton about you. I won't stand for being defamed on this forum.

Your bank account says otherwise.

Nah, my bank account says thanks for all the publicity. Including what you are giving me now.

It's funny but I JUST SOLD a case to a guy who drove an hour and he mentioned how he found us because of seeing the activity on the net.

So in that respect thank you very much for doing your part to insure that I can afford to indulge myself with a $10,000 match.

You want to bet on it?

The match is recorded. Perhaps you want to review it before opening your mouth. And if Dennis ever covered his mouth when talking to me then it was surely out being polite and wanting to keep the sound from bothering Lou while Lou was at the table.

Without prejudice

You were seen talking with a known A+ one pocket player. It has been mentioned that he was coaching you. I tend to agree.

So, is it "want to bet", or is it "and if Dennis ever covered his mouth"?

I'm saying he covered his mouth when speaking with you. You're saying he didn't, or weaseling out of that as well?

No problem. I happened to buy a case from you. It's very high quality. Your OCD is appreciated, in regards to case making. The fact you're as nuts as a bag of squirrels is between you and the voices in your head.

I don't think John cheated, and I don't think he got outplayed. They both SUCK at one pocket, and Lou just happened to suck a little less that match.
