Mike Janis always has excellent turn-outs at his tournies in Athens not to mention the partying afterwards borders on legendary. I myself will definitely be there to witness and partake in both.I know Vette will be there, so I will have to bring a rain coat....because he ALWAYS makes it rain. Who else is coming????

I'm gonna try my best to get up there. It's according to the old JOB. Hopefully I don't have to work Saturday.

LOL, that's one of the funnier things I've heard today...someone making a living playing pool full time? Who woulda thunk it possible...

Dags

(edit: that's not a knock on the way you're hitting them Mike...just a generalism...)

Tryin to decide between Dothan and Athens- maybe some of my old Athens cronies could persuade me? I might even make it mist-Matt

:D .....You don't want another pool player sleeping on your floor now....do you???

At least we won't have to fade Stevie or Louis this weekend. I see they are both at the Turning Stone event.

Yeah, but there is one local that is hitting them pretty sporty right now...He's always a threat in Athens on his home turf ;)

I think the choice is simple. You need to get to Athens this weekend. I would love to see a war eagle make it mist.

I would more inclined to call it a realization rather than a generalization. It is a shame but there are very few people that can make a nice living purely playing pool.

I am currently at home sick, but am feeling much better and will be back at work tomorrow. I have to work on Saturday, but plan on being in Athens by 5 -5:30 and blacked out by 8. Has anyone ever made it rain at a pool tournament?

Matt, if you do make it to Athens this weekend, try to remember that stairs were built for a reason. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it up there to defile Athens finest's shoes again....there will be other opportunities though.

Have you been practicing your make it rain toss while you are at home sick? Gotta make sure the $$$ fans out just perfect on the way down.

Actually, I've got a bunch of nickels, so I might make it hail. Please tell me they are serving alcohol again. Gonna try to make it, just to see T make it rain.
