here's the deal, no bs, no begging....

Smorgie was the heartbeat of AZB. His humor and insight was a million laughs for us...

some of you know me, and i don't have much tolerance for bs as nut huger, but truth be told, Smorgie was the best i have ever seen here; a pure delight...

i hope that you older azb'ers who knew him ask mike and mr. wilson to make sure he always holds the TOP position for REP on AZ

we owe him that, all of us...

Great idea! What is needed is a name change. He already has as many rep points showing as anyone. Changing his name to add exclamation points in front of it, the more the better, would put him in #1 for a long long time if not forever. I suggest !!!!!! Smorgass Bored !!!!!!

I'm all for that.

That might even improve the value of REP.
 
your legacy [your reading this] as well as mine...

we all have "our legacies" that we carry with us... but some of us no longer carry anything - some of us are gone; forever...

so who will carry us now? will it be you? or you? or you???

so for those that didn't know him, let me tell you a bit about him, but his wife barbara or JoeyA, could tell you much more, i still can say a few words...

he was the reason that i logged on to AZB everyday...
i wondered what he would say about "this or that"...
he was a friggen riot with his comments...
he was such a bright spot in so many of 'our' days...

always with another way to look at life and pool, and always within his post: a kindness and i think so often a smile or two...

i loved doug and still do...

and so do many others here - and for those of you who do - now is your time to speak up

like with my kids, or now my new grandson, i will not speak for you - i will only speak for me...

if you want doug to be our REP KING Hu has given us the way, so you must tell mike and Mr. Wilson - i won't, cause it is not for what i want that matters, but it matters what you want...

it is YOUR HANDS...

i hope Smorgass Board prevails...

I love this idea! I'm all for it!! Smorgie does indeed deserve to be #1, just as he is in my heart.
 
He was before my time but from reading about him I can tell I missed out. I say the name change be made unless someone has a legit reason it shouldn't be. (this is the part where the minister says "Speak now or forever hold your peace"
