As for Niagara Falls, Mike Sigel won and Jim Rempe was second. Both ran 150 in the tournament, Sigel doing it twice.

Click to expand... They had already moved to 200-point finals. In the previous year Balsis beat Rempe 200-199 in the finals. Dallas was my first match and he found a dead ball from my opening break.

Proof that the break can be a disadvantage! Probably a solid learning moment, though. My 2nd favorite time in straight pool is my opponent running a huge pack and out on me.
