old 314 crack

I was pulling my cue out of my case.
I screwed my but into the shaft n pulled it out of the case right into the very end of the blades of a ceiling fan on high. The cue was knocked our of my hand and whipped into a tile floor shattering the ferrule. I nearly fell over as i inspected the damage. Its an old 314 I have since replaced it with a 314 2. But now i see people like old 314s allot and I remember loving mine for what seemed a lifetime before the incident. Can it be fixed? Is it worth fixing?
Who could fix it? Pix below...

Don't feel too bad, I heard Mike Massey say on TV that he did that with a $8,000 cue once. Have you taken it to a cue repair person? Looks like it could be fixed.
 
I've seen alot worse. KJ can fix it for you. The real question is are you still dramatically pulling your cue out of your case like you're drawing your sword for battle? ;)

:embarrassed2: Right, so stupid. now I look both ways before removing my stick.
By the way thanks I will find someone to send it too. What do you folks think about proficient billiards. He has some amazing repair photos on his site.

Have heard nothing but good things about Scott at Proficient, but don't know if he works on Predator shafts. KJ is a Predator shaft expert. PM him here at KJ Cues.
 
there was a post i responded to that had a predator authorized repair person. i will find it and post the link to the thread i contributed to to. which his name . interesting read on it considering your pictures prove the point i was trying to make and was subsequently shut down about....let me find that link
 
what mystery foam! hahaha. it must not exist because i was simply told it doesn't! a picture is worth a thousand words. i promised not to return to that thread unless i found my receipt as proof of replacement etc from predator to validate my situation somewhat. but months later you have done that for me <3 :) hope all goes well , good luck!
 
You claim to have read the thread yet you obviously missed the paragraph pertaining
to the foam so I'll copy & paste it for you. I think it's worth a re-read.
