Old Brunswick Serial Number

I have a Brunswick Baby Grand 8' table, which seems to have been made between 1914-1917. Each piece of the table has a number stenciled on it, 60898. Does the number mean anything?
 
If you go to brunswickbilliards.com you can do a little research but they lost alot of records. I've been told 6 digit numbers are built after 1900 5 digit are before other then that its just a serial numbers.
 
I am curious as to whether the number tells where it was built, or maybe the date.
 
In most cases, the number stamped on the pieces is a production run # to keep all of the parts for that table together. They do not decode into dates or number of tables built, just a way to keep piles of parts organized.
 
Records from Brunswick are hit/miss

I seem to recall one time being told that they had a fire many years ago that destroyed much of their older records.
