Hi,

I'm looking to buy some old growth maple to make shafts and I was just wondering if someone could help me out by giving me some addresses, names or websites of good suppliers.

Thanks...

Talk to Eric Crisp or Wes Hunter. I think Eric posts here as qbuilder, send him a pm. Also you may want to post this in the cuemaker's forum.
:p

I have seen a lot of discussion about the differences between old sunken lumber and natural old timber.

Some won't use, or don't like the lake harvested lumber while some swear by it.

Just to clarify: I think Eric Crips's handle here is "Qbilder", without the "u". He ran a thread a few months ago offering some nice shaft wood for sale; maybe he's got some left.

He's all out last time we talked.
