The first Joss cues were exact Balabushka copies. This is said to be one of the first 10 or 12 cues Joss produced.
The joint is 5/16-18 and the shafts are full. The hit is fabulous. This is a Joss collectors dream cue! Condition is origional with the wrap replaced. The cue is not dead straight. But because the butt has a compound tapper it too nice to alter. It is not straight where the stainless touches the table. And taking that in mind with the fact that the cue's wood has shrunk and it's delrin buttcap hasn't, a refinish would do wounders. It is worth more like this. And it is a monster.

Nick,

Don't do it. You will be kicking yourself sometime in the future. It is called seller's remorse.

When you hear about depressed market pricing

Forget about it. It's high. If I take it out and look at it, it won't be for sale. That has happened once before. Offered to a gentleman that wanted to think about it.
He wanted more pictures. I took it out to do pictures and kept it!
Calls are best and if you wish to PM offers make them respectably high:)!
Trades possable.
Thanks,
Nick :)

Added description
The nice AZer has not kept in contact with me about his intentions.
The cue rolls straight together with one shaft. The other shaft is straight. The joint lifts when rolled with this shaft. I put a shaft from my wife's Muecci Rose cue on the butt and in rolled straight also. The second shaft probably just needs to be refaced. I will have it done at the buyers request but wish the cue to stay as origional as possable.
Cues condition is 80% high end. Used since the day it was made over 40 years ago.
Thank you,

And it is back available

I advised the AZer to take a good look at the Scruggs and TS Whitten case before letting it go in partial trade for this cue. I said when you look at it you just might keep it. And he did! Still intetested mind you, just keeping the Scruggs!

I had one of these cues. It did not have the inlays below the wrap but otherwise it was the same. I sent it to Dan Janes and he said they only made the 5/16 18 pin cues for a while because everyone liked the other thread better. Is this a 57 inch cue?

Hay buddy

This is a 57 inch cue. And truthfully I am leaning towards $3800.00.
It's value as a historical cue I feel has been too greatly discounted by me.
Thank you,
Nick :)
