Old Leather Brunswick Case Value

Hello I received this old case with my BB cue and don't have much use for it as I use a 2x4 case. Anyway, it is real leather and in excellent condition with the name and address label untouched. It appears to possibly be from the late 60's to 70's?

Can anyone please give me an idea of the value?

That's a beauty. Because of the exceptional condition, I would say $250. That's higher than most, but it is the nicer version of the case and it's in excellent condition.

Put it in the closet, write your unborn kids,grandkids or great-grandkids a note with the backstory and put the note in it.

Or sell it for the dough!

Thanks Rob, if i didn't have a house full of cues and cases collected over the years that would be the go :-) I think the misses has finally had enough of them though.

I really had not formerly appreciated their value and had passed up several in the $100 range.

I wanted one like this for my old Brunswick Hoppe cue, but had not yet pulled the trigger. I had also passed up a number of the cheaper ones in the $40-$100 range, the ones with the laminated leather, more like thin leather over cardboard. I really didn't want one of those even at $40.


Just picked one up exactly like the one posted in excellent condition for a C Note. :thumbup:

I really like these cases and have a few primo examples, but I also sold some. The best ones were around $200 but none where the padded version of the case and handles.

I would definitely offer this OP $200 for this case.

If you look closely it has decorative lines on the sides.

Oh heck yeah! Frankly, I would have thought you had one. LOL! I always just picture you having all the coolest stuff. :thumbup:

Have you seen the 2x4 Brunswick that Mizerak had? Just like these but 2x4? I would really love one of those.

I remember when JB made some. Very nice. I would love to see him do the 2x4 version.


EDIT: Mizerak's was said to be a 1x3 or 2x2...but could hold more I am sure.
