Hello Guys,

Does anyone know whether these old Moori tips are the Moori I or the Moori IIs? Which generation are these from??

These that I have are 10 layered and evenly layered.

Are these the great hitting ones that people rave about?

Thanks!!!

I think they started making the "quick" later on.
I remember the first ones labeled as medium, medium-hard

I believe the Moori originals had 13 layers.IMHO hit and lasted alot longer than the ones made today.Nohing like the original MOORI

No the first generation Moori tips have 11 layers and are marked with letters for soft, medium, medium-hard and hard and are not marked glue side that came later.

That lettering style is what the Moori II tips had on them. I have a few somewhere, but have not been able to lay my hands on them. I can't remember the number of layers the Moori II tips had, but it seems they changed it a time or two.

Thanks guys! So from what I gather, does Moori Originals = Moori I = Moori 1st Gen? Cheers!
Moori tips have been evolving so to speak since the beginning. The original Moori or 1st generation tips had no name on them. They just had hardness letters and Q was not one of them. It actually got to be rather confusing before they introduced the Moori II tips with simply M, S and Q, because they had several two letter combinations like ME, MX and several more.

I'm afraid you're going to have trouble getting these. The only people who still have the originals are usually keeping them for their own cues as they like the hit of these tips. They are the best ever made.
