Sorry for the crappy pics. Cue is not mine, nor have I held/seen it personally.

8 points all tall with dots on top. Looks like 2 types of rosewood.

Scallops and razor blade windows in butt. Silver dots. Old Micarta joint.

Also looks to be the old white/blue speck Cortland cuttyhunk linen wrap.

Thanks,
Sean

I have seen those rings before...but I can't place it....

I'll see if I can get some time to go through some resources but I have to say those rings are damn familiar.

I am betting somebody can ID this one.

Pretty cool cue.

Thanks Doc, it's a neat cue for sure. Gina's done some similar rings, but later, when he restarted. I'm thinking this cue is from the mid-late 70s....based on my conversation with the owner.

My guess would be Rocky Tillis. Or possibly even a Tillis knock off by Adam. they made some nearly exact copies of some Tillis cues. I would think this one to be an original though.

I really want some of that wrap!

Nice old cue. Good luck with the Identification.

I have held this cue....about a week ago...my guess was an early black...

Its a Rocky Tillis cue I use to own it.Had 2 of them.Theres a man in Akron called Duck Frank, use to play out of starchers billiards in akron ohio. He has the one that looks like a loaded gina cue.Same joint collar ring. This cue was very ornate. Rocky Tillis lived in Tampa Florida, off cardinal drive. Bill Stegal showed me his cue in the 70,s and gave me his phone #,And i ordered a couple, the last being the fanciest. John Showman really likes and collects Tillis cues. My cue had only 2 shafts, and the cue had the old white with green speck cortland wrap. Rich aka the skunk.

LOL! I was thinking Tillis and came back to make my guess....and it looks like it has been nailed down!

I figured somebody would nail this one.

The Black guess was a good one, but it seems to be pegged for a Tillis now.

The man. Black worked in his shop and I think has owned it for decades. I didn't read any post and guessed. But Good luck.

Helmstetter like design. The scallops and dots just scream it to me. I would have never guessed a Tillis to be honest.
