I have a question....my best friend has a very old meucci. We are both 40 and he has had it since we was teenagers. He is gonna send me pics but as of right now i just have a description....the bottom butt cap has in block type lettering the says Mike massey by Meucci or somthign along that line can anyone point me in the right direction as to where i can find more info out on this cue..such as when it was made and such. WE have researched alot of meucci pool cues but have not yet seen anything like it..and help would be greatly apprecaited..WIllieB
 
I'm with Jim on that one.

I believe those were made in the seventies but also in the eighties. Could have a brass pin and pill bumper, meaning earlier cue, or it could be later.

I believe that Meucci collectors would find such a cue fairly desirable. As far as I know they were standard models with different engraving on the butt cap....but I am not 100% on that one. There could be some that were not simply standard models that I am unaware of.

I would see what Meucci has to say. But I would still love to see pictures of it!
