Old schon Micarta ferrules

westinghouse micarta is the term ive heard to describe it.. best people to ask are an older knifemaker who used a lot of micarta in the handles of their knives.

They don't know anything about Schon ferrules.
Also, knife makers get suckered into buying Westinghouse micarta on Ebay when they are really getting the GE version.
 
Whos sitting on the westinghouse stash? Joey? I will be needing some of that elusive stuff myself. Sorry to threadjack.
