Here is Dino Mark's new Esoteric cue. We spent some time working on this design until he thought we got it right. I Like It!

Curly Maple Forearm, Ebony Points & Butt Sleeve - Green - Blue - Red - Black 4 Point Veneers

Butt Sleeve Boxes and All Inlays are Ivory. Silver Bars with silver dot compounds in the Ivory dots.

8 Stitch veneers rings in maple to match point veneers.

Let The Trumphets Blare........A New Cue Is Born.

The cues that have come forth from Rick & his dive team over the past 2 yrs. have been way better
than the average bear.....on a scale of 0-10....solid 9's all the way......and this cue is another example.

An interesting design.....lots of curb appeal......there's one aspect of a cue design that I am very fond
of and that's the cue's rings. Perhaps because I am such a big fan of rings, I wonder how this design
would have turned out if the sleeve used either the ivory diamonds for the top and bottom or matching
stitched veneers like the bottom ring on the top or maybe a combination of the two?

Designing cues is a artistic challenge when you try to differentiate a new cue design from what's previously
been attempted by others down through the years. Esoteric cues continues to dazzle me with their great
array of cues and designs released that are really well done. I hope the new owner comes back to share more.

I thought about the same thing.

The combination is an interesting design point. I would have probably put the rings at the top and bottom of the butt sleeve. I do like those rings.

I also would have put the same dot above the spear inlays in the points to match the inlays in the butt.

I would say that the fact that I don't see design elements like I noted and that I might normally expect makes the cue more interesting.

Definitely a beautifully executed design and very interesting.

Thanks Guys,

I usually bookend the butt sleeve with matching rings. The 8 tiny diamonds where done just to be a little asymmetrical in the sleeve area.

The stitch rings are bookended now on the front and back of the cue only as we did not want rings on either side of the wrap.

That's a well thought out and executed design in my opinion. I do like the asymmetric ringwork, and gunsight veneers between the points. The cue has appealing balance as a whole. Hats off for a job well done and thank you for sharing your fine work. Matt D.
