I have had this cue on the wall for at least 15 yrs. Looks real good there but cleaning house. I have no idea as to who made it. I was told it was a Helstetter, made before he went to Japan, but that has not been proven to me. 19 oz 13mm shaft. $250..00 OBO shipped. Thanks jim

I also think this is a Rich. If it had points or veneers I'd be a buyer. Thanks for the photos.

A lot of Rich cues had a bumper similar to McDermotts. Viking used a shallow round bumper like that for a short period in the late 70s and early 80s. But the Viking would have been marked with a clear window near the butt.

Did anyone ever successfully Id. this cue...I have one quite a good bit similar to it.

Some quick pictures.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures...I've just taken them before bed, on a camera Im not that familiar with.

The joint collars seem to be identical with my cue having what seems to be a rather cheap aluminum threaded joint. The pilot on the shaft as well as its insert are also identical, with a almost identical 5/16 x 18 brash pin...mine has a slightly sharper pin tip. The only other noticeable differences would be the butt collar having (from top to bottom) Blk/White/Blk/Nickel/Blk/White/Blk. Also my wrap which I believe to be original has a white ring measure about an inch at both the top and bottom.
