I played a lot in the sixties and then took a 40 year sabbatical from pool. When I started playing again, and collecting a few cues, I decided to add a few vintage ones.

Top to bottom - Adams/Weir Flying W, Brunswick Willie Hoppe, Adams Quantum, and a McDermott Tournament of Champions. All are in new or mint condition.

"Flying W" - Micarta joint and ferule. Ebony points and butt sleeve with split windows

Willie Hoppe - As a kid this was the cue I could never afford. Note the great condition of the label. Beautifully refinished by Jason Wiegand (JLCues on AZBilliards). Jason also made my main playing cue which will be posted later.

Adams Quantum- Don't know much about this one but it is in beautiful condition.

T of C - McDermott gave these cues to the winners of local tournaments during the early 90s. Fairly limited number were produced and this one is unplayed.

Best thing

Nice group.

I enjoy the Wier cue. I see them occasionally and people fall into two groups. They havent a clue or they know the whole story. Nothing in between.

Back in the '80s here the original owner of the local hall here got one of those McDermott tournament cues...they were supposed to be worth $1000.00....

I like your cues, I sold an identical Weir in unused condition to

Nice cues, I sold an identical Robert Weir cue to AZ Member Runscott. The was in mint condition and it appeared to have never hit a ball. The cue had the factory tip and the original price tag still on the butt cap, it also was perfectly straight, it was a real nice cue. I mean who cares if Adam made the cues they are really great cues, like most old Helmstetters and Adam cues.

Thanks for sharing!!!!!

I sure wish that were the case. I would have tripled my money!!!! It isn't and investment cue, just one that was unplayed and sort of memorabilia.

Manwon -

I bought a cue from runscott back in June 2007. I will have to check my records to see if this is the cue I got from him. That would make for a small world wouldn't it.
