Olhausen tables, used in any tournaments these days?

Thanks mate, confirmed a few comments on here.

I wonder with all this feedback, why they just don't change their pocket design!

What are your thoughts on the table having too much vibration?

I have not noticed at "vibration" problem.

One BIG thing they need to change on their so-called 'pro' tables is to make the pockets flush fit. Jeez, these things stick up a mile. The Grand Champion's play ok if set-up right.

The main marketed brand a pool seems to be short set 9-ball. IMO the rattle would become too much of a player in these matches. In non-rotation games (in theory) you can at least use your skill to maneuver the cue ball and pick the right patterns to avoid needing to put some pace on a ball down the rail. Rotation games leave little choice sometimes and it ends up being an instant sell out if it rattles.

If a crap pool table paid enough to be used in tournaments, they would be in any tournament they wanted. Getting a table in a tournament is just advertising, not indicative of quality. Don’t get suckered in because you saw such and such table at a tournament. Aramith makes great balls but the damn balls seen on TV make it almost impossible to tell which ball is which. Ugly weird color balls are suppose to help the home viewers. I have an 85” UHD TV and prefer the old colors that are much easier to distinguish which ball is which. I’ve seen Predator balls on my TV and their colors are just fine. I suckered into buying new Aramith Blak and sold them after one day of play.
