Maybe like Rasson has done in less than 10 years? I suspect the business people at Brunswick saw no return on TV promotion after the various men's tour debacles in the US. I think Matchroom has changed that.... Same with Brunswick. If they all of a sudden start sponsoring events like they did for 100 years, they'd be in the game again.
At one time Brunswick was the table sponsor for the Mosconi Cup. I suppose that was primarily for sales in Europe since in those days the MC got little or no TV coverage in the US -- even worse than today.
