On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

when will you be in the DFW area ?

Had some fun Sat giving Perfect Aim mini lessons and showing why this is will soon be considered the way to teach everyone how to aim.

The first APA lesson was with Craig Leblanc. He won his next match 7-1. He was so excited about how well he was seeing the shots that he told everyone. I had a waiting line all day long with hardly time to eat.

Then there was a young lady, Angie Payne from Austin, Tx. She sat for about an hour waiting for the mini lesson. I could see that she was kind of a special player and took the game very seriously after working with her for a short period of time.

She was very happy with what she learned and started applying Perfect Aim to her game. She won the tournament.

Afterwards she came up and thanked me for the knowledge and did a little interview praising what she had learned.

This is the greatest reward a teacher can recieve.

For the weekend I did 27 mini lessons. Each one takes about 15 to 25 minutes. I'm pretty beat today.

I'm heading over to White Diamond Billiards to see what 's going on over there.

Hey Gene, when are you leaving the south? Sure wish you'd swing through our neck of the woods on your way out!

Are there any others in your area who would pay for a lesson from Gene? It's pretty expensive on the road.

Meridian isn't that far from New Iberia but it ain't a hop, skip and a jump.

That's a good question I wish I had the answer to. I bet there are a few APAers that would but I don't think there are any qualifiers going on in the next week that would bring them to one place. I would consider making the trip to New Iberia this coming weekend if Gene was still in the area.

If he only KNEW?????????????

I had kind of a funny thing happen the other day.

Charles Hillbilly Bryant came over to me and said, I teach the same thing as you. He shows me this piece of paper with lines on a ball and says to me.

I teach fractional aiming but I just have X amount of lines I teach. And i teach how the eyes just come together.

This is not what I teach by a long shot.

Many players that see a little bit of what I teach and see this part think that is what Perfect Aim is. That couldn't be further from the truth.

Kind of like the joke where the blind man walks up to the elephant to smell not knowing that his nose is right at the elephants ass. So he thinks the whole elephant smells like shit.

Hillbilly is not the first player or person that has assumed this and is so wrong. Sure i teach fractional aiming. We all naturally do it, we just don't consciously know the amount, but we all do it.

We really start doing it in the preshot. at this point we are looking at how much of the cue ball is going to hit the object ball. That's fractional aiming, we just don't know the actual amount but are visualizing it.

But fractional aiming is just a very small fraction of what I teach. In fact a player could learn Perfect Aim and not know anything about fractional aiming and do just about as good. Once a player knows Perfect Aim the fractional aiming really starts to make alot more sense though. With the eyes in the correct position you can actually envision the amount you are trying to hit correctly.

I'm not knocking Charles Bryant. I think he has lots to offer the pool world.

He just doesn't understand what I teach. Nor does he understand Perfect Aim.

What I teach is priceless and I know that and so do the players that really learn Perfect Aim completely and are using it everyday.

This is why i had a line of APA players waiting to learn Perfect Aim this last weekend. The players were excited about what they just saw and told the other players. 27 Perfect Aim mini lessons Sat and 27 homeruns.

And it works for everyone that learns.

Here we are again, another tournament........

Well, I'm at the Houston open,

Big Truck will be streaming and the great players from all over will be battling for a piece of the cheese.

The Super 8 is within walking distance so it's handy.

Today i'm giving a lesson at 6. Can't wait to hit some balls and get ready for the big show.....

Don't get any better than this........

Had a fun lesson tonight.......

I had a real fun last night. They are all fun but this was really a special happening.

His name was Mike from Arkansas.

After he saw how much perfect Aim was helping him shoot the balls in and see it so clearly he said I have to admit something to you.

When I was driving over here I was thinking, What could this guy show me that I'm not already seeing with my eyes. Here I'm driving almost two hours and it might be a waste of time.

To make a long story short there was no waste of time, in fact Mike said it was well worth the money.

He just kept saying over and over as he was shooting the shots, I can just see that it looks right. This is it. This is the answer to aiming a shot.

Every Perfect Aim lesson is a home run. This one was a grand slam.

This makes two in a row like this.

Before I left New Iberia, LA / Emerald Billiards I gave a lesson to Keith the owner. Grand Slam also.

right now I'm going to play in the Houston Open here in Houston. After that I will be shooting the new Perfect Aim video with all the new info that I share in every personal lesson. Big truck, Ray hansen will be running the camera. It should be fun.

The goal here is to make the video with all the new techniques that make it so easy to learn this need to know aiming system called Perfect Aim.

The goal here is to make it possible so that every player that buys the video can watch it in their own home and hit a grand slam without me there.

Somehow I need to convince the world of players that this does work for everyone.

WHY>>>>>>>Because it does.

Oh NO! Not Keith Hulin! Geeze, I was going to challenge him to some even up one pocket. I'll have to think that over now.

Congratulations on the new video. I have watched the evolution of Perfect Aim and as you teach more people, you have been able to improve your ability to discern how each person sees uniquely.

I don't think just anyone can teach Perfect Aim based upon the differences that I have witnessed and anyone attempting to do so had better have lots of the type of experience that you have.

So many people have misconceptions about how they "see" and how they aim, that you can't take anyone's word for it and have to be able to determine the truth of what they are seeing and it isn't always apparent even to experience eyes.

Another thing as my game evolves, I notice that if i start missing balls, I check my Perfect Aim immediately and usually that gets me back on track. "Perfect Aim" isn't going to make you a world champion but without perfect aim you're just going to be stuck on the road of mediocrity.

Thanks for sharing your stories on the road. I like hearing about "Mike" and all of the others who took a chance on improving their game.

I KNOW Perfect Aim has improved my game. Thanks for all you do for pool.

Whatever. Priceless? At least behave as if this is just what you learned on your own from your own personal experience (which it is). How arrogant are you to say something like what you teach is priceless when there are probably hundreds of people capable of learning it intuitively without any need for a guy like you to conceptualize it and sell it for his own profit (at a ****ing unreasonable price). Get over yourself dude.

You people that sell stuff like this are helping to perpetuate a dead pastime and exploit idiots who are unfortunate enough to involve themselves ad-infinitum with it at the expense of adult obligations and even the notion of living a respectable life. I hope pool is abolished in the U.S. PFFF

I'm one of those "idiots."

I was having severe alignment issues. A quick 30 minutes with Gene got me all squared up...and this was over the phone.

Sometimes it takes a little help to get the ship righted.

There are plenty of options in getting instruction. Pool school, books, videos, BCA certified instructor, playing races with superior opponents. Whatever works for you is the best method.

A big thanks to Gene!

Well I just want to start by thanking you Gene and saying that I really enjoyed the lesson. This isn't the review thread, so I will keep it short, but I will say that you ABSOLUTELY changed the way I look at a shot, and it changed it for the better. I wish you well in your travels and hope to see you this weekend at the Open.

Once I get some rest I will do a full review tommorow. Thanks again.

Calm before the storm at Legends/Houston....

Well the calcutta is going and there are 128 players.

This is going to be a battle. The first night I got there you couldn't see a persons face from one end to the other. Smoke. If a player just stays in there they will not last long in the tourny. You need to get out of there. The smoke will eat you up physically and mentally.

Having said that this is going to be a barn burner:rolleyes:The players I have seen already would be a who's who in the south.

The goal here for me today is to get to the second day. I think that will be the final 32. I need to stay in the winners side or the smoke will become a big factor. Just playing so much in the losers side is to much for anyone to deal with as far as the smoke.

Ray Big Truck Hansen is ready to bring this tourny to homes all over the world doing what he does best.

I have to go. Ray just called me to let me know I have to be there for the calcutta. He said if I'm not there so the players can see who they bid on I will be kicked out of the tourny.

Never heard of this rule. Oh well. I better get over there.

On with the battle.

Need to win 2 more matches to get to Warren Campco

This will be fun. To get a chance to knock off a high profile player. And if I want to stay in the winners bracket he needs to go down.

Now I just have to make it happen.

Myself and Warren Ciampo on the Big Truck stream in about an hour......

I can't wait to play this match.

I'm not all tired and towards the end of the tourny. I get to play a top player with all my energy.

This is going to be fun. Winning will be real fun.

That's what it's all about. It don't get any better than this:cool:

About 10:00 PM central time.......

Here is a little video I liked alot///

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siu6JYqOZ0g&feature=player_embedded

I think that most of us that teach do it because they love to help players improve their games.

If it was for the money there would hardly be any teachers in pool. Especially I can speak for myself.

As I sit in the motel room I watch this clip and it helps me get my thinking back on track as to why I do what I do.

Playing in tournaments right now is pretty tough with the physical setbacks that I have. But this made me feel better in a real quick hurry.

On with the mission.....Teaching players to play better than ever before using all my skills to let them know that this will really help them.

This is the real challenge. Because it is real difficult to tell a player that plays pretty well that they are not seeing everything that they think they are and how much easier this will make it.

Sometimes the road can get pretty tough. It has a personality of it's own and is not for the weak or meek.

Today is a new day with new adventures.

Excellent video. Thanks for sharing it.

Gene, if there is an upside to any of this; with your health issues beating you down, it is likely you will go for less than $50 in the Calcutta at White Diamonds.
