Lewis, I wish you and I had met, back in the day. I was not the worlds best manager, as Charlie Brown will tell you, but nobody had more fun in those days. Always had to laugh, when I realized no matter who I was partnered up with, After 3 weeks we'd count it up, only to find out we were $36.45 ahead. (from what we left with) Or maybe $12.50 apiece loser.
For me, it wasn't the thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat. It was all about making a little score, and partying till the sun came up. Not everybody had that attitude, but I would play whoever had the cash, or a good backer.
Money was just ammunition, and I could always find a way to reload.
Enjoyed your mini road trip, Things have changed a little, huh.

PS Remember Andy Olguin, in Amarillo. Is he still around ? Always liked the kid. Good action. We ran around some. It was a race to see who made the worst game first, or we got rich.
