On the Road with Rhea

Just because there has not been an update in 10 days from our resident "Road Player" doesn't mean we should let this thread die...

Has anyone heard from her? Has she finally gone bust?

Heroes don't go bust, they just fade away......

You can read the Blogs and make comments on them if you wish. Its pretty much that no could be bothered doing so.

There are many members that are quite capable of writing great stories, Lou, Joey A, for 2, and David Harcrow, (CatPool9), writing of Road stories while traveling with his Brother, Country Calvin. Now these were real Road Stories.

For one, Rhea uses words such as Steak, when she should have used Stake. As in Stake Horse. This is clearly a lack of education, or at the least, no real Mastery of the English language.

She isn't capable of writing an interesting Post let alone a book at the end of it all.

Her exploits, gambling for anything from one whole dollar to 20 dollars are anything but exciting.

What is interesting is some of the dumb moves that she has pulled off since she started her Big Adventure. Maybe not even that part as much as she is willing to tell people about those moves, somehow expecting support, praise or admiration.

Her exploits so far are absolutely not what the currently available Road Story Books are made of. She will have to step it up in the near future if she wants to have a chance at writing just one chapter.

Speaking of Chapters. Rheas Chapter Threads probably wouldn't have reached past page one on most and would be so far back in the annals of AZB posting History that they would already be collecting dust if it weren't for the supposed Dumb Comments.

She should be happy as she has received far more attention than was deserved thus far.

Just my Dumb Opinion. Others may vary.

Most of what you say is true-however it has little to do with my answering a question as to why RHEA would do a blog and post an occasional link to it in a thread. The threads were indeed much more entertaining from OUR perspective but i doubt they were from hers.

Blog @ 04.22.14:

Thursday night I went to Full House Wynnewood, OK.
I did not make it to the money, Sean King knocked me out of the tournament.

Friday I went to Jamaica Joes, I matched up with Nick. We played even races to six. He won 4 out of seven sets for a $40 loss.

Saturday I went to Back Alley in McAlester, and ended up winning first place for $295.

Sunday I won 2nd place at Lyrewood for $120. I matched up with Alex afterwards spotting him 1 on the wire to 5 in eight ball.

Monday I went to Chester's. My first match was with Peewee. We posted up $200 and played races to 9 for $100 per set. I won both sets.

Then I matched up with Long. We played races to 9 for $100 per set. I won 9-7. and then 9-7 again.

Then I matched up with Duke, he spotted me the last two in a race to 9 for $100 and I lost two sets.

Then I had a rematch with Long races to 9 for $100 per set. the first set went hill-hill so we backed it and jacked it to $200. Then we went hill-hill again so we backed it and jacked it to $300. Then Long won 9-3. It was closing time so he would not play another set which was good because I was dead tired.

Tuesday I went to AAA club and played Brian Watkins a 10 ahead headset for $400. In less than 3 hours he defeated me.

Then I went to the 30/20 club to play in their tournament which I am currently still in the winners side after 3 matches out of 20 people.
UPDATE: won 1st @ 30/20 @ $55

Thursday, woke up early checked out of my motel.

Called my friend Debi and asked her for a ride to Chesters.
Got dropped off at Chesters and matched up with a few people.

Around 6pm I called Debi again to give me a ride to Greyhound, she had ran out of gasoline so she had to call me back later on.

I was intent on getting on the bus by 9pm that night however things did not go as planned. By the time she picked me up she told me she didnt think she could get me to the bus on time and get back to 30/20 in time for their tournament, so she decided I could catch the bus on Friday, which costs more money.

We went to 30/20 and I got 4th place. Then I gambled with Clarance and it went back and forth the entire night he quit even at about 1:30am.

I got a ride to Debi's cousins apartment but since I couldn't stay there she let me sleep in her truck.

It was freezing. We managed to wake up early enough to get to the Ace check cashing place so I could buy my bus ticket in cash for the website discounted price of 99.45 from OKC to San Antonio.

We stopped in the grocery store and got a bit of food for my trip.

Then she dropped me off about 5 miles from the bus station. She didn't want to take me the entire way because her windshield was visibly cracked from back when she was dating James Walden and she didn't want to get pulled over.

So I called a cab to get me the rest of the way, got on the bus on time and headed to Dallas.

In Dallas I missed my connecting transfer so I had to get the next bus to San Antonio.

I finally arrived in San Antonio about 11:45. Shane Manola and his girlfriend Renee picked me up from the bus stop and took me to Clicks.

Renee and I practiced until the place closed.

Then Helen came back from a weekly tournament and gave me a place to stay for the weekend.

So here I am in San Antonio ready to go to Clicks tomorrow at 9:30am for the OBCues tour.
