One bank fits all?

Camelot...I said a half ball aim, not half ball hit. They are two different things. A half ball aim is a 30 degree cut, which is a fuller hit than what you're describing. I agree that banks that are outside of a half-ball aim, may well be a 1/4 ball aim or a 3/4 ball aim. BTW, good bankers play cutback banks all the time...especially in one-pocket.

That's interesting. I've watched the best bankers in the world, and they are primarily trying to play for straight in banks, and they want to cut the angle down.

With a half ball hit, you are now cutting the ball backwards, not something that a banker wants to do.

I would also bet that all half ball hit banks could also be made using a 1/4 ball hit, or a 3/4 hit.

There's just alot of possibilities.
