One handed technique...

Back in the past there was a guy who always played one handed jacked up but primarily because he had lost most of his other arm. He would sometimes use his partial arm as a body prop on long shots. He enjoyed pool or the competition enough to throw his $5 in on the local bar room tournaments at times.

If one plays one handed and uses the rail for support is that still considered jacked up?
No. Convoluted pool logic. The stick angle/elevation is probably the source. Having to shoot over a ball is also jacked up.

The weekly $5 nine ball tournament at the White Spot in Fife drew all the best players from Seattle Tacoma and Olympia. Soji played one handed with his walking stick every week and on occasion would win a match. Never touched the rail or his other hand. I heard he was business manager for working girls (like the movie Night Shift). I also heard that he was a martial artist with the walking stick as well. 🤷‍♂️

jacked up one handed,, is the term used for solely not touching the rail with the stick.
