You are correct, Jimmy is the younger brother of Pete Zhender. Louie and Doug are the other two Zhender brothers. I see Pete now and then and he has some great stories about the Rack! I ought to interview him sometime!stevelomako said:

Yeah I barred Jimmy out of my poolroom (Beechmont Billiards) when he made a 9-ball game with a guy in a wheelchair (just happened to be Aaron Aragon) played one set for IIRC $500 and stiffed him when he lost. His comment to the regulars was "What's he going to do about it?"! At the time I was already being sued in a nuisance law suit regarding a customer who was struck by another customer in my place of business, so I was a little more prudent than my emotions dictated at the time and just barred him! Not that I'd have to win in a fist fight with Jimmy, he's a concrete worker and a pretty strong boy, even if he is an asshole! Plays pretty fair bank pool also!

Lou is a straight up guy! I believe he 's a railroader. Pete is about half crazy (probably more than half)! I'm sure he has plenty of stories, but he was never really a player. he was usually on the con!

Yeah, I had to LOL at that story about stiffing the guy in the wheelchair. That is SO Jimmy! The way his brother Louie tells it, Jimmy was a pretty decent kid until he went to Detroit. The boys at the Rack had a bad influence on him. He was already "on the dark side" when I met him around 1980.
