One (of several) reasons why APA handicapping sometimes don't work.

To make a long story short, I'll just say that MY scorekeeper had me down for a match-total twenty (20) defensive shots (which is probably about spot-on) while my opponents scorekeeper had me down for two (2).

'Nuff said.

20 defensive shots....

Were you guys in a race to 100???

You sir are a defensive, diabolical mastermind....the APA needs a player review process....if a team feels another player is sandbagging, there should be a private section or email they can send in.....the LO can do some research on their innings, performance in playoffs, and so on.....also, if the player's been around a while, the other captains should know his speed....

Actually, I won this match 5 games to 1. There were a couple of games where there were clusters that I could't break open without "selling out" so I just kept locking my opponent up until his kicking finally gave me a run-out. It was an unusual night as far as the total number of safeties I shot, but you know what they say, "you're not playing an opponent, you're playing the table". You take what the table gives you and you do your best with it. It's hard to argue the final outcome of my match, especially since he won the first game in 2 innings and I proceeded to run off 5 straight games.
