I thought it was one of the best yet. You need to have players on the cast. Even if there not the ones playing the TAR match. Another thing is a round table with players, promoters, and someone from the pool media. Like the boxing show thats been on for years. Johnnyt

We want more.......

JohnnyT, I agree, I didn't want it to end.
Lot's of good topics.
I sure wish we could find the answer on how to make pool explode.

it was the best one i have seen so far  it was interesting to see they dislike the measles ball.

Yea JohnnyT that was a good TAR podcast, I'm pumped can't wait for the match to start. This is going to be great!

The hard part to watch though was when Mike was so optimistic about where pool is going and Dennis said well I've been hearing that stuff for 30 years.

One at the beginning looking forward
One closer to the end looking back
Two people looking at the problem
From opposite sides of the tracks

Some nice comments about this podcast.

I thought there were some interesting tidbits that the players shared. I think it went well.

We appreciate all comments.

Just as I said in the other thread.. This was my favorite podcast to date, by far.. Everyone had some great things to say..

Well done Mark and Justin!

Great Podcast...

I would like to have seen more discussion on Mike's race proposal about RACE TO 15 BEST 5 SETS OF 9.....

I know a player can have a bad day and lose a race to 25 and also maybe two bad days and another one the next day...

However, If you go to 15 ...two sets Friday...
Then another two sets on Saturday to 15...

Then Final day to see who finally reaches 5 sets won ...I think this format is worth looking at more ...And maybe a better formula to see who is really the better player over the long haul.....????

Just a thought...

Again...Best podcast so far and please keep em' coming...

I kinda liked the podcast but it got a little hard for me to deal with everyone talking over eachother. It was cool to listen to the players views about the state of pool and their cue ball preferences.

It would be better for me if maybe they just interviewed the players and then let them finish their answers without stepping on them.

I only started watching these about a month or so ago, but definitely this week's was the most entertaining. Usually I watch the YouTube link later and just let it play as I work; this one though I was constantly bringing up the window to watch the discussion(s).

Absolutely think having the players on together provides more spark - and more natural conversation/progression.
