welcome to the club. i start to get a little frustrated these days on league night because i can't contribute the way i did twenty years ago. but then i remember my age, my eyesight, and everything else that goes along with it and just do the best i can and have fun doing it. it's still a nice night out with my buddies having a few pops and playing some pool.

blew almost a dime playing 1 hole, didnt make a ball for over a hour. i never played so bad in my life, 3 games @$300.

i have won the past two 9 ball tournements and went in last night to get some xmas $$ but was bumped out at the start.....just didn't have that "burning desire" i guess.....shot the lights out thursday but come yesterday i just didn't have what it takes...up one day and down the next, welcome to pool. 
I played straight pool once and my high run was 2. I quit when it was around 80 to 14 after missing about my 15th hanger. Maddest i have ever been on a pool table.

Pool have secrets / Advance knowledge , many know of it but cannot really apply it or connect the dots, mainly due to the many variables that effect the outcome of the shot
You need to know how to pot all 4000 varieties of shots on the table as a start; you will only be able to do that if someone shows you how to, it took me 30 years to find them on my own even though DR Dave's web site explains it all, mainly because i was thinking oh well i will never master this game, i do not have talent, or i am not gifted, but that all changed when i learned the secrets.

were about 5 years late, lol, i'd like to say i'm ready, i have been hitting the balls ok, until i got home from M-Cup, since then wow i been struggling.
lets make a plan to play in 13 for sure!!!
last night i put down my cue and played with a POS house cue, the scary thing is they felt the same. I lost what ever it is I ever had. I'm positive i'll be fine, but wow i reached a new low yesterday. today i aint looking at a box, forget it. i'm playing tomarrow alone and going to hawaii for 4 or 5 days. no pool, no pinball, no bowling(i never tried that one) just sun, this is Hawaii mister!!!!

i'm not sure what happened, i been playing too, played ok in London, played 3 or 4 times since i been back and struggled some, then the wheeles came off last night. I came out the gate ok, no back problems, was in the mood to play, liked the game, everything was rite. I have ZERO excuses, my eyesight was a bit hazy for the first 30 minutes but it came around and i could see.
It was this bad: I had a hanger straight back bank to my hole a free shot, didnt have to worry about the CB, I beat him to the shot and had position. So I could 100% commit to the bank, not play a 2 way shot (you with me Russ:wink
Ok so thats the shot CB is 3'-4' from the OB which is laying perfect for a straight back under my nut sack bank. its a hanger for me 99% of the time, the rare time i miss this ball its because of Ernsto's pockets, i'm always rite there with it. So last night I missed it by 5 diamonds-I banked it into the diamond ABOVE the side pocket!!! How is it possible to miss that ball by 5 diamonds????
And that wasnt the worst shot of the night. you still with me Russ?!?!?!:grin-square::grin-square:i cant stand it

I have lots of excuses though; old age, no practice, unfamiliar with the table, etc. etc. The list goes on and on but the bottom line is I'm losing in spots where I used to win easy. Getting old is a b'tch and then you die!
