I'm so glad these nights don't come around very often.

To night i could not make the 9ball. I played great 1-7, but the leave from the 8 to the 9 sucked. Still had very makable shots on the 9 and just stunk it up.

Playing 3 man 9ball my team lost 14-15. I went 4-6 and in every game i lost i shot on the 9ball first. FUC*! I'm so frustrated. LOL.

to my teammates, sssssooooooorrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy!

I just stunk it up. :-(

Thanks everyone for listening to me cry like a baby.

Dont feel too bad, I had something like this happen a few weeks ago. I havent been playing much due to finishing my Masters degree, work and looking for a new job. Well my buddy who owns a bar asked for me to be a sub on his team since they keep coming in second and want to make it to the state tournament. I showed up a couple weeks ago, not having shot in a month, and just stunk it up. He kept telling the other guys on the team that I was a ringer and that i'd get them 3-4 wins every week, lol. Neeldess to say I only won 2 games my first week and had my buddy asking "What the hell?!!". I was disgusted with my game and went out to shoot a few times this week, luckily I shot alot better the other night and we killed the first place team. So I definately know how you're feeling brother.

Don't feel bad, that same exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago at a house tourney. From the 1 to the 7 you would have thought I was a touring pro, after the 7 I dogged everything I shot at. Even the guys I played against said my ball count was much higher than theirs. It happens.

We all go through rough times. The best thing you can do is not let it get you down and to keep shooting through it. Every time you hit bottom you bounce back even better!

Those nights do come....more importantly (and thankfully) ,they also go.

Not for me:( If 7ball ever becomes "the games" I'll be a pro.

That's a great story. I invited a friend of mine to play slow pitch softball on my team and told all of my team mates how well the guy played. Needless to say, he came out and struck out (that's right in slow pitch) the first two times at the plate. Unfortunately, we all go through those phases.

tks for the support. I really thoght i've taken my game to the next level. In our BCA league last session i had more W's then any other open player.

I thought i might be on my way to the master level.....NOT.

Back to the grind...

That's similar to me last night playing 8-ball league. Absolutely the worst night this whole season. In practice I ran out every time I had a chance and broke and ran twice. <cry>In competition I was getting racked so I wouldn't make anything on the break, I was suffering from hershey squirts, and my allergies were causing my eyes to lose focus because of irritation. I only managed 26 points that night out of a possible 50. I won two out of three matches, lost one with 1 ball left, and lost TWO with all my balls left. One of them ran the table after I broke dry, the other racked me and got lucky more than I did.</cry> We were playing the best team in the league... but I'm still pretty disappointed with how I played.

<cry>Oh yeah and before yesterday I won the last 19 out of 20 matches :( Now I'm only 21/24 </cry>

When I have those nights I do three things-

First, I take a couple deep breaths and tell myself to "relax and win".

Second, I force myself to remember the absolute basics like stance, aim, stroke, follow through, etc.

Third, when the first two don't work, I put my cue away and stick to drinking. :D

What is a poor soul to do? I don't drink.
