Cue and Cushion in ST. Louis has plenty of action.

I find more action at the Rack in Lovonia(sp) than Hall of Fame.
its the sme 3 guys, lol... i was at hall of fame thursday and there was all the money tables going and 30 players woffing and matching up. of course the tournament at oak park helpes a little but there is always a group ready. it looked like some of the rack guys were there checking it out. although to be fair, whenever i was at the rack there was alot of people in action. good luck and have a safe holiday.:D

Vegas 100% without a doubt, I have travelled everywhere and Vegas is a 1P town, strong players here. nothing comes close to Vegas for daily 1P action.

Where and at what times? thanks

Speaking of Shurtz, BOb oOwen there at shurtz makes one of the best cues you can get at any price, his son won the U S Open a few years back.Anyway Bob sold me a beautiful cue that plays real good.

I recall John Henderson (JRHENDY on this forum) looking for action a while back ... You can find him regularly at Hard Times Sacramento, along with a host of other One-Pocket players ... Monday - Friday is probably best, since it's quiet in the Tournament Room ... I really want to play John, but my Cataracts are slowing me down quite a bit ... Once taken care of, I hope to get back into the game and possibly gamble a bit ...

p.s. - John, if I am out of line with this post, please let me know and I will edit ...

You are cetainly NOT out of line, and yes you can find me there a day or two during the week and sometimes at the Sunday 9 Ball tournament. I have been playing some $50 a game one pocket and getting beat. I told Baby Frank the last time he beat me (last week) the cue was going in the fireplace and I was going to keep getting new cues until I found one I could beat him with. I have a new one that should be here tomorrow. I know it is not the cue, but for some reason I have been playing better 9 ball in the tournaments than one pocket gambling. The only good thing about going off is you always get action LOL. John
