One Pocket capital on the USA???

When I lived in Northern California, I was surprised to see One-Hole being played all over the Bay Area. Of course that was 16 years ago. I'm not sure if it's still like that today.

Bring a trophy home for AZB.... (what was I thinking?)

OK, nevermind, just get the cash!

I did pretty well until I ran into the Filipino's. Santos put me in the losers bracket and Alcano knocked me out.

Alcano is not a seasoned one pocket player but controls the cue ball and pockets so well that he did not have much trouble with me. A couple eight and outs did the trick.

I will have to unleash the 9ball stroke today. With 100+ players I may be able to dodge the champions for a while and sneak into the $$.

My 9 ball game does not scare anyone.:embarrassed2:

It does have a 'decent' following here, but if they can't fill the big money tournament at Bullshooters this weekend that would probably end any doubt that this is surely NOT the USA capitol of one pocket. I think a lot of On the Rail netcasting makes it seem more popular here than it is, and due to that and Lenny's hard work with live streaming events it has a foothold here.

Not sure about Chicago, but CA seems to have a good following for the game. JMO..... I've played it one time seriously (but badly).

td

Couldn't agree more! One pocket fans should be bowing down to Lenny for all his hard work.

That said, one pocket is a game that puts me to sleep...

I used to feel the same way until I played the game. I really have not played very much but I do love it. A few years ago I did an event that some of you may remember with Efren playing Scott Frost. I really wish that I knew then what I know now
