One-pocket: Efren Reyes - Niels Feijen

i doubt efren was playing his best game against Niels for $100.
efren tends to rise to the occassion and also deflate down according to who he is playing and what is at stake

i get the feeling if they were playing for 10k, niels might see a different kind of "magician"
(;

this is true, in any case Neils has improved from a no-chance to a slight chance and getting the same handicap which most elites are getting from Efren. regardless of whether they are playing for fun, you won't simply get a 9-7 handicap for an A player. right Berry? :D

pfffff, how can people say that Efren is not playing his best because there is no 10K on the light.... Well let me tell you this: First of all efren never puts up 10K as he is backed all the time (so there is no differance for him). Second players hate to lose especialy those who win a lot. And third I watched about 12 hours of this action and believe me Efren was shooting crazy good shit in a full focus mode! And he had to because Niels is making it tough for him.

But then again you might know better.....:confused:

just when you thought that someone is playing his best already when all of a sudden he sets the gear higher. to some of us and what we know as crazy good shit and I for one knows what a good shit is (lol) , since we aren't accustomed to that kind of excellent play being overshadowed more and more each time. what I meant is for us simple pool players, it seems that a great shot is just normal shot for them great players. 9-7 might not be a big handicap as you might think, but it is big for them pros. usually among their ranks, a 2-ball handicap is much to ask for.

I have seen many one-pocket videos recently, and Efren is playing most of them. I have also had the pleasure of playing both Efren and Niels. I am telling you people, Niels is getting really, really good in one pocket! I don't think Efren is "teazing" Niels to get the bet higher. When I played Efren he was all smiling and laughing when he had control. When I won sets he changed mood, and didn't say a word and was 110 % focused on the table and the balls the next sets. The guy HATES to loose.

But I will use no more time saying it on here that Niels is good, I will let his results in the upcoming DCC speak for itself. I think many Americans will be surprised, not only of Niels, but there are many Europeans who have started to play this game more often.

I think Niels can now safely be called the 2nd best European one pocket player.

I'd say Effie is workin' it...bets too small for the brain to be 100%, it's just the way the Phinoy's are, old school, which is depression era Wimpy style. Europe...its gettin' time to empty' out and learn the hard way.

exactly my point! they are both playing to improve their game. besides, a handicap tells the difference of one's level. And I don't believe that Neils is ready to gamble Efren even yet. a 2 ball handicap maybe a possibility if Neils would agree on gambling with some real dough (with backers of course). it would be better if Neils play Corey for now. whoever wins the most between the two, may have the better chance of toppling or beating Efren even in the future.

Nobody play's Efren even in one pocket for big money....

BTW got 6 hours on my computer of them playing one pocket!! (10 GB)
