One Pocket (Grady Rule)

Does anyone have any video of a One Pocket match in which the "Grady Rule" is being used?

Loose interpretation:

The Grady Rule was something Grady Matthews came up with to speed One Pocket Tournament play.

From my understanding of it--After a players turn is over if there are a certain number of balls above the side pocket---the nearest one is to be spotted to promote faster play.

The number of balls allowed up table can be decided on by the TD and the number may vary.

The usual area of interest is in the kitchen, not above the side pockets.

The rules for DCC include a version of "The Grady Rule". I think it's:

If there are 4 balls in the kitchen at the end of your turn, ALL four balls are spotted immediately.

The DCC uses a non-standard definition of "in the kitchen".

I have seen a version that said something like "no more than 3 in the kitchen and nearest balls spot", but I don't think that's used anywhere now.

Thank you for qualifying this.
The kitchen makes a lot more sense.
Having all balls spot at once also makes more sense.

We play as soon as there are 4 in the kitchen the closest to the rail is spotted.
Really speeds up the game and adds a bit of strategy.
Do you ever have a problem with "sleeping" a ball that should be spotted? When should it spot?

Also, how do you determine "in the kitchen"? Sometimes a special rule is used at one pocket.

yes sometimes an inning passes then we see a ball that should spot and it gets spotted.
The kitchen is the kitchen right?
We are a couple of old guys well past 70 and we bet $5 a game so rules are kind of loose.
