One pocket question?

If it's 6-6 that's 12 balls, should be 3 more - first person to get two of them wins.
If the player running the balls knocked off a few into other pockets they spot when there are no balls left on the table.

You're playing wrong. Any ball pocketed in an extraneous pocket spots up. If you foul you spot one of your balls. Between these two rules, it's really hard to run out of balls before someone has gotten to 8.

If one of you is spotting the other, then the better player may start the game owing some. At 11-7, the better player begins the game owing two balls and spots them as soon as he can (but at the end of his inning).

Thats where we screwed up, we knew to spot the balls pocketed in wrong pockets but not ones on any fouls. Thats all I needed to know, thanks!!

We had quite a few scratches in game, therefore the screwed up score and not enough balls left on the table.
 
stick with it

I'ver been playing one pocket for a year and love it. Stick with it, it takes a while to get the feel of it. There's lots of matches to watch and really learn something from. enjoy
