I wanna hear what everyones opinion on the best books or dvds to learn to play 1-pocket.thanks

I say buy as many Accustat one pocket tapes as you can. Not only do you get to see what knowledgeable players do in situations, but the commentary from the likes of Billy, Grady, Buddy, etc. helps give you insight on what the different shots maybe and why you should or should not shoot them. Also, their strategic information is great too. JMO.

any ideas on where to get them at a good price

Shots Moves & Strategies

Eddie Robin has put the best book together. It is pricy but worth every penny. PM if you want the long winded description of its merits.

Two, if you count Winning One Pocket and Shots, Moves, and Strategies.

James,

Why don't you get the drill book and dvd I did with Pro Skill Drills? It won't necessarily teach you how to play one pocket, since the game is experience based, but it will give you the tools you need to execute the shots you want to shoot when you recognize them or think them up. I learned the hard way by playing everyone better than me until they could not beat me anymore, then moving on. This is a good way for you, plus I would get as many Accu-Stats as possible starring Efren and a couple others and watch the games and try to understand what they are thinking and why. I would be glad to help you out in any way.

I agree with this choice. Spend whatever it takes to get these two books. Even if they cost $300 apiece, it's pretty easy to make $600 at One Pocket.. :D
