People in colder climates have evolved to be larger people in general to preserve their body heat. I would guess the same types of forces are at work when it comes to the above as well.

...including the northern border of California.
Where Celtic and Blue Hog Rider live, they are south of Alaska only.

Could you be a bit more specific about WHERE in Ontario......

Thanks, I just learned something. I've been to Ontario CA, and Rochester NY, and lived in Ontario Canada (downtown TO), but don't think I knew about Ontario NY.
