so most of you know i chime in on occasion with nothing very important
usually something a little oldschool or to complain about people being sensitive -but anyway
last weekend during the turning stone stream-i made a bet with a fairly well known ny player about a match that was going on-he lost the first bet(25.00)and then the second(another 25)i advised him since he didnt want to send it to paypal he drop it or send it to skyline billiards to which he said fine
since i dont really like or respect this guy how long do i wait before torturing him via internet and email (and on az of course)

thanks for the input in advance(ps dont ask his name you will all know if he doesnt pay (lol)
and its not the 50 its the principle

scttybee...No offense, but if the guy didn't pay up after the first loss, you shouldn't have bet with him again. That's standard operating procedure, in side betting. If you have not been paid, it's probably likely that you're not going to get paid...no matter who it is. You're right, it's not about the $$$...it's about the principle. Moral of the story: Post up, or pay after the match...especially before making another bet with the same person. Best of luck in getting your "due"!

scttybee...That makes only a little difference. Lots of people "post up" on these side bets, via the internet. Since I'm not one of them, I don't know specifically how...but others will.

five minutes is plenty

Since you don't like or respect the guy I'd say five minutes is plenty long to wait before calling him out for a low down air barreling hound. However I am a little confused why you would bet $25 at a time with someone you don't like or respect. That is definitely in the fun bet range. Someone I don't like or respect I want to cause some real pain if they lose, at least in the wallet!

the small amount was due to the fact that it was spur of the moment and i dont think i would have bet on this particular match with any thought before hand-more or less it was made during the match first on the final score then on the last rack-i do know how to get to him if i want but i would really rather torture him(though my lack of recent action makes the fifty look appealing)-
i was out of pool before this guy could spell it and i like to torture those who know so much that they cant keep quiet
-but thanks for the input........
i think the email goes this evening and the public abuse starts around?
i let you know

As far as betting again with someone that didn't pay up on the first loss, if both bets were won within a few hours, it would be easy to get burned twice(since you didn't know the first wasn't getting sent) As far as waiting? I say name the jerk!!! :D
