I am looking to get a new case for christmas. I've seen these "It's George" cases and I really like them. I've been told that they are really good protection, but I wanted to get smoe more opinions before I invest in one.

Thanks

I suppose they offer as much protection as most other cases but there's not much padding inside. I don't like the looks of the Brunswick It's George. The ends don't look right to me. I'd talk to John Barton since this is a one time deal for you it would be fun to design your own.

I think they were great cases in there day but just like cues there are many out there offering a better product, its evolution!

I have several It's George cases and I really like using them
I also have Whitten, Justice, Swift, Thomas, Instroke etc.
They are all really good cases and you can't go wrong with any of them.
There's just something about the vintage George cases that I like, and the "jump" cue holder is a nice touch.

I like the vintage George cases better than the new ones, but even the new cases are very good.
I use a 3 x 6, but there have been some complaints about the 2 x 4 George cases because of the tight fit with 2-butts and 4-shafts.
Sometimes you have to oppose the ends of the shafts to make everything fit.

Do a search for kchighendcues. I believe he still has a selection of new Its George cases in both 1x2 and 2x2 configuration.
