This is my new case that I call “Later Gator”. It has a couple of things done differently and I was wondering what everyone thinks of them. First, the top handle is removable and attached with “D” rings to the body of the case rather than the lid to reduce stress on the hinge and lid latch. Second, the lid and matching bottom cap are wet formed for both a different look as well as to reduce the chance of the bottom edges curling where the panels are usually nailed to the bottom plate. There is not much tooling on this one, just a simple border at the fastener lines, I wanted the front panel and stainless button screw fasteners to pop and get all the attention. I went with SS button cap screws instead of rivets and used an excessive amount of them for bling. (yeah, each one is screwed into a tee-nut backer). The front panel is not real alligator, it is veg tanned leather that has been embossed and then hand painted with dye to look as close as I could get to natural gator. Please let me know what you think, all feedback, positive or negative is appreciated. Thanks, Joel
