Which would look better on this cue, brown or black leather?

IMO Black leather is too much black, considering the Ebony forearm and butt. That's too pretty of a cue for the stealth look of an all-black wrap. I'd try to pick up one of the other colors with a wrap, maybe the point veneers, or even the ring work. Black & silver snakeskin maybe?

I voted brown but it really comes down to personal preference. I think either would be ok.

Stacked leather.

actually, this is the wrap that is currently on it & the brown matched the color of the points on the cue & it looked fantastic for about 6 months. Now it looks dirty brown & black & won't clean at all. It's like the black dye has bled into the brown with use.

And the worst part is that it feels like linen. If i could get the stacked leather re-done & epoxied over I'd probably do it just because it looked so fricken sweet.

Tiger products has a cleaner for that wrap..I have almost the same color stack leather wrap on my cue and it brings back the color and the shine...Works great....Don't know if you can see the wrap on my cue in my advatar.......
It's called MASTER QUICK SHINE....A 13 oz. spray can....
Works great.....

Send me a PM re: refinishing that wrap

They can be refinished up to 3x.

The only way i'd consider having the wrap refinished is if it could be epoxied & clear coated like a meucci.

If it's going to get back to the same condition it's in now, I'd rather go with a different wrap.
