I put a thread up today in this forum looking to TRADE a nice set of ping irons, and callaway driver for a POOL CUE...The thread was deleted....was my post out of line? It was pool related, and I am requesting to do business....btw I welcome all opinions regardless of what side of the fence your on.....

Were you given an explantion for the deletion? If your post was as described it certainly would be in line with other posts I have seen on this forum. I have seen posts offering to trade camera's , computers, wives, etc... for cues.

For all I know they deleted them as well.

No... I wasn't given any explanation..I'm with you I've seen plenty of posts on this forum where members are looking to trade a non pool related item for a pool related item..rings, watches, cars, guns etc.....and on the flip side members looking to trade pool related items for non pool related items....phones, golf equipment, guns..etc.....hopefully Mr. Wilson will chime in and clarify things for us.....I'm surprised more members don't have an opinion on this topic....

Doesn't sound out of line at all to me, though I am not familiar with out of line situations on this forum :D .
 
The other day I did post a thread to trade some cues for an IPhone. Same concept. As long as your post is pool related and you are not doing a straight golf related item sale it should not be deleted.
 
I personally don't have a problem with someone trading non-pool related items for pool related items or vice versa.

Yeah guys I was very specific in my request....I was asking for CUE TRADES ONLY..I didn't attach a dollar figure to the golf related items.....Anyways I hope this was just a mistake, and Mr. Wilson gets back to me..
 
I agree too if u want to trade for a pool cue or other pool related equipment and u want to pay or trade with whatever u want to should be fine.:)
 
The problem was that I did not read the entire post.

I have many irons in the fire and every frickin day...someone IS trying to sell a car, a boat, a watch......anything they can contrary to the rules.

I missed one sentence that we wished to trade.


For future reference, put TRADE in the thread title to avoid any confusion.

i knew it had to be a mistake unless someone cursed. given the threads lately i didnt think it got pulled for that.

in march i traded a guitar and amp on azb for pool related items and i didnt have a problem at all
